End of September 2022, Executive Directors of the Norwegian, Swedish and Finnish Chambers of Commerce in Latvia together with Jānis Atslens from Nordic Council of Ministers' Office in Latvia went on a business trip to Oslo to get acquainted with the Oslo-based Nordic institutions, Norwegian partners and participate in the Oslo Innovation Week (https://oiw.no).

During the visit to Oslo, the delegation visited NordForsk, Nordic Innovation and Nordic Energy Research, as well as the NHO (Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise), Natural State and Nordic Circular Hotspot, Oslo Climate Agency at Oslo kommune and several events.

The purpose of the visit was to create new connections and strengthen the already existing ones, and learn about emerging trends and Nordic outlook on current geopolitical challenges, sustainability issues and regional cooperation.

Since 2014, the four Nordic chambers of Commerce in Latvia have been organising Nordic Baltic Business Forum series aimed at promoting transfer of knowledge and experience and opening new opportunities for cooperation between the Nordic and Baltic regions.

The recent visit was supported by The Nordic Council of Ministers and The Nordic Council and provided with new ideas for future events and cooperation.
