Christmas Charity Raffle

This year’s FCCL Christmas Party once again featured the much-loved Finnish Chamber of Commerce in Latvia (FCCL) Charity Raffle, led by FCCL chairperson Valērija Vārna and deputy chairman Lasse Henritius. The charity lottery was the highlight of the Christmas Party evening, bringing both excitement and goodwill, thanks to the generous prizes provided by FCCL member companies.

All proceeds from the charity raffle will be donated to the Family Support Centre Zvannieki (www.zvannieki.lv), supporting their important work with children and families in need.

FCCL extends its warmest thanks to the charity raffle sponsors: Tietoevry (Tieto), Neste Latvija, Stockmann, HRX Latvija, GPT Production, Spridzāns Law Firm, Energofirma Jauda, Lindstrom Latvija, TSV Management, Nordic Sauna, Hestia Hotel Group, Inesta Consulting and Trading, Kauss Agency, Bewerix/Beweship, Finnish Chamber of Commerce in Latvia and Embassy of Finland in Riga. Their contributions made the raffle truly special.

A special thank-you goes to Lasse Henritius, who brought the traditional charity raffle tickets from Helsinki.

Some fun facts from this year’s event:

• The largest number of gifts was provided by Energofirma Jauda.

• The biggest prizes in size—two carpets from Lindstrom Latvija—were both won by our young participants.

• The luckiest winner of the evening was once again Hannu Parviainen and his family, continuing a cheerful tradition.

FCCL also expresses heartfelt appreciation to the Christmas Party Sponsors whose support made the celebration possible: Tietoevry (Tieto), HRX Latvija, SilJa and Anora Latvija.

Some FCCL members brought their charity raffle gifts directly to the Christmas Party, while others delivered them to the FCCL Executive Director in the weeks beforehand—together creating a generous and diverse prize selection for the event. Ladies with the charity raffle gifts are Rūta Boka (Stockmann Riga) and Anna Priede (Energofirma Jauda).
