Finnish classical music concert gathers FCCL members

A night of harmony and Finnish cultural celebration! 🎻

The enchanting melodies of Finnish classical music filled the air at the Big Guild as the Latvia National Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of the incredibly talented and young Finnish conductor, Tarmo Peltokoski, captivated the audience.

🎻Featuring the exquisite skills of violinist Tami Pohjola, the concert showcased Finnish music gems. Notably, members of the Finnish Chamber of Commerce in Latvia were in attendance.

Post-performance, the celebration continued with a reception hosted by Stokmann and OP Bank, providing a perfect setting for musical enthusiasts to mingle.

Arnis Pooks, representing the Finnish Embassy in Riga, on behalf of the Ambassador of Finland, delivered a heartfelt speech. He compared Tarmo Peltokoski to the word famous Richard Wagner, who before becoming an opera composer, wielded the conductor’s wand in Riga.
